Does anyone have any experience with feeding this to their cats? I'm considering switching over to it because it has no/less grain (depending on the variety), but my vet has never heard of it. It's pricey, so if anyone has some input I'd appreciate it!

Date: 2010-06-17 05:39 pm (UTC)I have four cats with varying health things: the 13 year old has UTI issues and constipation; the 9-year-old is overweight, the 3 year-old is pretty active and the 2 year-old is a lunatic, but has skin sensitivity to certain foods.
On the Wellness core, the 13 yr. old gained weight, the 9 yr. old lost weight, the 3 yr. old is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and the skin conditions on the 2 yr. old have all cleared up. I can't say enough good about this product.
The food is a bit pricey, but even my vet is impressed with they quality of the skin and coats of my cats. Besides, one small bag lasts me almost a month and that's with four cats.
Also, not to be gross, but the quality of their poo is better - not smelly and less of it!
I will warn you though, the food itself is a little fishy smelling right out of the bag, but the smell fades and you do get used to it. That comes with feeding a grain-free food.
