Introduction to the (furry) Family.

geekmamaHello there! I was thrilled to find this community while surfing journals here on DW but saddened when I realized I didn't have as many pictures of my cats on my computer as I thought I did. I've moved recently therefore the digi camera is packed away at the moment but as soon as I find it.. *shakes fist* There will be many photos taken! Onto to what few pictures I do have.

All four of these cats reside together in my grandmother's house where I live with my grandmother, mother and my partner, plus my nephew. Outside of just the cats, my mother has a miniature wiener dog named Sadie who is very insecure and thinks all of the cats are out to steal the pettings. Casimir and Jaya are the bravest and most willing to risk the toddler's attention to steal kisses and cuddles while Cali and Hanners remain aloft until the monster is put to bed.
I really wish my family would let me adopt more strays. All of our cats are shelter adoptions or kittens given away. Someday when I get to have the house of my dreams built, it'll be filled with window seats, hidden litter box alcoves with quiet air filters for privacy and all kinds of neat cat furniture and toys.
